INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL
DIVING COURSES
Your place on a course will only be confirmed following receipt of a Course Confirmation Email or letter sent by Brighton Diving and payment in full for your course and training materials.
All bookings and payments are non refundable.
If a request to change course dates is made more than 14 days before the course start date then we will change your booking to a future identical course with a fee of £25.
If a request to change dates is made within 14 days of the course start date then your booking will be made on a future identical course with a fee of £50 subject to availability.
If a request to change dates is made within 72 hours of the course start date then your booking will be made on a future identical course with a fee of £100 subject to availability.
All courses must be completed within a 12 month period of booking otherwise all course fees are forfeit.
Commencement of the course is subject to timely completion of all requirements detailed in the "What to do in advance" section of your Course Confirmation including:
Completion of any relevant forms. These must be brought along on the course start date.
If applicable, the completions of all pre-study materials in advance of the course start date and submission at the start of the course.
All courses are performance based. Some students may take longer than the allocated time set for the course. We are committed to all of our clients learning to dive therefore we will provide whatever reasonable training is required to complete your Open Water Referral and Open Water Diver training at no extra cost. This completion guarantee is subject to Brighton Diving training resources being available during future courses to allow the student to repeat the necessary elements of the training.
Brighton Diving tries to ensure all courses finish on time, however due to students learning at different rates the courses may over run. We would recommend that you leave yourself extra time at the end of the stated course finish time.
Brighton Diving does not take any responsibility for loss or damage to guests personal belongings.
Brighton Diving reserves the right to cancel a trip due to unavoidable causes and will contact the agent or customer at the earliest possible convenience. In the unlikely event of such a case, Brighton Diving will provide another available date.
In case of Force Majeure (natural disasters, epidemics etc) or unavoidable acts of man (war, riots etc) Brighton Diving reserves the right to cancel the trip and offer a different date to the customers at the earliest possible time.
Students agree to be present at all training sessions between the times communicated
Students agree to make adequate travel arrangements to ensure they arrive before the course start time. This includes downloading maps of locations, checking public transport, allowing for traffic hold ups etc. We will not inconvenience other customers by delaying the course. Students arriving late will not be able to start the course.
It is a mandatory requirement that students have their own training materials for each PADI course; this includes DVD-ROMs or manuals+DVD, Log Book, Student Record File, eRDPML+Booklet. These materials are available from Brighton Diving if you do not already have your own set.
We recommend that you collect any required course materials from Brighton Diving, if not, course materials will be posted at extra cost. We will endeavour to despatch any ordered materials within 48 hours where possible but this may take longer. Please make sure you have the time necessary to complete the study prior to your course and ensure you bring along your training materials to each session.
