Boat Diver - £120
Whether you've never made a boat dive or you've logged dozens, the PADI Boat Diver Speciality course can benefit almost every diver because different boats in different parts of the world do things differently.
Diving from a boat is fun, especially when you look at ease when manoeuvring around on it. It’s fun to know what you’re doing.

Deep Diver - £170
The Deep Diver Specialty course offers you the opportunity of a lifetime – going deep to see things others can only dream about.
To get started you need to have the PADI Adventure Diver certification (or a qualifying certification from another organisation), and be at least 15 years of age.
During the course you will learn deep dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and hazards. You’ll also put this knowledge to the test as you go on four open water dives that range from 60 – 130 Ft/18 – 40M.
To get the most out of your deep dives, why not combine your Deep Diver Speciality with the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver Speciality? Using Nitrox can significantly extend your no decompression limits giving you longer dives.
Where can I go from here?
You can count the Deep Adventure Dive from your Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver course as the first dive of the Deep Diver Specialty course at instructor discretion. This Specialty course certification also counts as one of the five Specialty certifications required for Master Scuba Diver certification.
Digital U/Water Photographer - Level 1 - £70 / Level 2 - £85 (UK)
How would you like to bring back lasting memories of the amazing creatures you saw on your vacation? This class will enable you to do this.
You will be able to prepare the camera and housing for in-water use, then you will learn some photography techniques to make your “raw” pictures turn out better.
What do I need to start?
PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Minimum age: 10 years old
What will I do?
You’ll learn the basics of underwater photography such as composition and camera handling, with special emphasis on practical techniques. You’ll learn underwater photography dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You’ll also learn how to care for and maintain your camera equipment. When done with the in-water portion,
Part 2 will teach you how to download, save and edit your pictures. The course includes two open water dives.

This Specialty also counts toward one of the five Specialties required for your Master Scuba Diver certification.
Level 2 - £45 (Malta), Free (Red Sea)
Drift Diver - £140
Drift Diving is effortless and relaxing because you simply glide with the current and feel the rush of flying underwater. But, with this type of diving come special procedures that you need to know so you can maximize your fun underwater.
What do I need to start?
PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Minimum age: 12 years old
What will I do?
During your PADI Drift Diver certification course, you’ll learn about drift dive planning, organization, techniques and potential hazards, as well as special equipment and procedures like buoyancy. But it’s not all theory because you’ll go on two open water dives where you can put your new knowledge into action.
Where can I go from here?
Your Drift dive from the PADI Adventure Diver or PADI Advanced Open Water Diver program may be counted towards this Specialty certification at instructor discretion. You may also count this Specialty certification towards one of the five required Specialties to earn the Master Scuba Diver certification.
Dry Suit Diver - £180
If you want to see the spectacular and prolific aquatic life often found in colder water climates you'll need to stay warm and that means a dry suit. But, you want to be trained in proper techniques and this is where PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course comes in.

What will I do?
During your PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course, you'll not only cover the background knowledge related to dry suit diving, you'll get into confined water to put that theory into practice. Then, once you've mastered confined water, it's time for two open water dives and applying that knowledge, including dive planning, organization, techniques, problems and buoyancy control.
Enriched Air Nitrox
The primary reason to dive using Enriched Air is to extend your No Decompression Limit (NDL), sometimes quite dramatically, giving you longer dives than would be possible on standard compressed air. As an example, a dive to 80ft/25M on air has an NDL of just 30 minutes. The same dive made using EAN36 has an NDL of 55 minutes, which is a whopping 25 minutes (83%) extra dive time!. Some divers also say that they feel less tired after making a series of dives when they use Nitrox.
Discover Nitrox - £45
Non-diving certification - £75
Two dive certification - £130 (UK), £100 (Malta), £85 (Red Sea)
Equipment Specialist - £85
This is a non diving specialty which introduces you to the every day basic dive equipment maintenance tasks and routine care and adjustments to make owning and using diving equipment more rewarding. In addition, you’ll get the valuable background on equipment repair and purchase, making you better able to protect your investment.
To get started you need to have the PADI Scuba Diver, Junior Scuba Diver, PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization).
During the course you will learn the theory, principles and operation of your dive equipment, routine recommended care and maintenance procedures, common problems with equipment and simple fixes for common problems, simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new equipment.
Although there are no open water dives with this specialty, it counts towards your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
Night Diver - £160
When you go night diving you’ll see a whole new world. Even your local dive site takes on a new personality at night, as many underwater creatures and plant life (different from those you see during the day), are active at night.
What do I need to start?
PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Minimum age: 12 years old
What will I do?
You’ll learn night dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You’ll also learn how to control your buoyancy, navigate and communicate at night. Since many of the plants and animals you’ll see are different, you’ll also get an introduction to nocturnal aquatic life. You will also make three night dives (usually on one day).

Your Adventures In Diving Night Adventure Dive may count towards the Night Diver Specialty course at instructor discretion. In addition, the Night Diver Specialty course counts as one of five Specialty courses required for your Master Scuba Diver certification.
Peak Performance Buoyancy - £140
If you want to fine-tune your buoyancy and soar over reefs, extend bottom time by reducing air consumption and prolong the life of your dive equipment, the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course is for you.

PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Minimum age: 10 years old
What will I do?
During your Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course, you’ll use PADI’s Basic Weighting Guidelines to determine the correct amount of weight. Then you’ll practice the fundamentals of peak performance buoyancy during two open water dives, including the buoyancy check, fine-tuning buoyancy underwater, weight positioning for trim, streamlining and visualization.

Your Adventures In Diving Peak Performance Buoyancy Adventure Dive may count towards your Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course at instructor discretion. This Specialty also counts toward one of the five Specialties required for your Master Scuba Diver certification.
Surface Marker Buoy - £120
Whether you’re planning on coastal diving here in the UK or on your holiday, having a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) will increase your safety and comfort and will alert boat traffic and other divers to your location.
If you’re ever involved in drift diving from a boat then a delayed SMB will allow your boat skipper to follow your dive and pick you up promptly upon surfacing. They are also a great visual reference on your ascents too.
The PADI SMB specialty course will teach you the safest and easiest techniques to efficiently deploy a delayed SMB whilst static underwater and also whilst swimming.

PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)

Underwater Navigator - £150
When you’re underwater, knowing where you are and where you’re going comes in handy, especially if you’re looking for that beautiful reef that you’ve heard all about. The PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course will help you become a pro at finding your way underwater.

PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Minimum age: 10 years old
What will I do?
During your PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course, you’ll learn underwater navigation dive procedures, techniques, planning, organization and potential problems. You’ll also be introduced to natural navigation, underwater patterns, distance estimation and further your compass navigation skills. You’ll put these into practice during your three open water dives.

Your Adventures In Diving Navigation Adventure Dive may count toward your Specialty course at instructor discretion. This Specialty also counts toward your Master Scuba Diver certification.
Underwater Videographer - £200
Video is the best way to share the sights, sounds, motion and dynamics of the underwater world. If you want to get the best clips and also learn to edit your scuba diving stories to share with friends, then the PADI Underwater Videographer Specialty course is for you. Learn to create underwater videos that are interesting, entertaining and worth watching again and again.
If you’re a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 10 years old, you can enroll in the PADI Underwater Videographer Specialty course.
Wreck Diver - £200
The lure of exploring sunken vessels, airplanes and automobiles is something most divers can’t resist. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course introduces you to wreck diving and helps you develop the skills and knowledge necessary for safe and fun wreck diving.
What do I need to start?
PADI Adventure Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Minimum age: 15 years old
What will I do?
Planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of wreck diving including the preparation and use of lights, air supplies, special equipment, penetration lines and reels. You will also learn limited-visibility diving techniques and emergency procedures during your four open water dives.
Where can I go from here?
Your Adventures In Diving Wreck Adventure Dive may count towards this Specialty certification at instructor discretion. This Specialty certification also counts as one of five Specialty certifications required for your Master Scuba Diver certification
