The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the most recognised learn to dive scuba certification and is the first step to a lifetime of adventure. Completing a PADI Course with Brighton Diving qualifies you to dive worldwide to a maximum depth of 18 metres with a buddy. The PADI Open Water Diver course is performance based which means we progress at your pace, ensuring you understand everything and are as comfortable as possible. The two components of the PADI course in Brighton are Pool/Theory (referral) Training and Open Water Qualifying Dives.
Pool/Theory
This is where you learn and practice scuba diving skills in Confined Water pools and confirm that you understand the PADI Open Water Diver study material we send you before the course. The Pool and Theory are known as the PADI Open Water Referral Course and can be completed in a number of ways.
Please note that our 1 day courses are intensive and for water confident people, if you are unsure then call us to discuss prior to booking.
Open Water Qualifying Dives
The Open water Qualifying Dives are completed in the Sea (Weather Dependant)
This part is the practical test to see how much you have learned during the Confined Water Sessions and to make sure you are confident and comfortable enough in your new underwater environment.

Validity: Expires 30 September 2015.
Available as a Voucher
Purchase: Limit 1 per person. May buy additional as a gift.
Booking: Required by phone or email
Restrictions: Must be 16 or older. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
Medical questionnaire, safe diving practice and liability waiver forms must completed before first session.
Equipment Provided, except personal equipment (Mask, Snorkel, Boots)
Instructors reserves the right to cancel for health & safety reasons.
Cannot be combined with other specials
